Hi,
I'm currently trying your software and liked it a lot. I would also like to try the combination with basecamp but the share-form wouldn't accept my openid login (which I use at basecamp).. Is there a solution for this problem?
Thanx in advance
Ruben
Hi Ruben,
I didn't even know BaseCamp had OpenID support. I'll try to make an account that way and see what I can do.
If you go to the "MyInfo" inside basecamp, right under the OpenID section there's a yellow section that says the following:
"How does OpenID work with RSS feeds or third-party products that integrate with Basecamp? If you are prompted to enter a username and password by your feed reader or third party product, please enter the special information below:"
If you take that username/password it gives you and put it into AgileAgenda it'll work.
Of course this is a poor solution and is exactly the sort of thing that OpenID is trying to avoid. Unfortunately, that's the only mechanism that 3rd party apps have using the BaseCamp API with OpenID right now. I'll keep an eye on this to see if it ever improves.
I'm real interested in testing this software, but I can't seem to access the trial registration code so I can't actually try the product. Am I missing something?
Here you go Barry, I'll cheat and post one.

Hey Marc, I hope this is a good place to post this question and I fear it is a user error(that user being me).
When I create tasks, I am unable to edit the start and end dates for specific tasks. The start date is always 11/30/1899. The date field will grab focus, but is not editable. Am I missing a step here?
I have followed the tutorial videos but just cant seem to get past this issue.
Other then that, great app, once I get this figured out, I can see it being my only scheduling app for my dev business.
Thanks,
Matt
AgileAgenda has a different way of thinking of schedules than most scheduling software packages.
Instead of forcing you to worry about when tasks start and stop, you just need to enter in how long they take, who should work on them, and the relative priorities.
Then click the "Recalculate Schedule" button and it'll figure out the time line for you.
Thanks for the feedback.
